Seyed Amirreza Mousavi told ANA on the sidelines of Asreh Omid Event, an exhibition held by the Islamic Azad University in Tehran in May that he participated in the event with the project "Renovation of fifth generation Ziegler–Natta catalysts.

“This product is a sensor which is used in oil, gas and petrochemical network as it determines the amount of water in oil condensate,” he said.

“For example, jet fuel has a standard and maximum for the amount of water in it, and this sensor determines whether the jet has water or not by changing its color,” Mousavi added.

"This product can be used for car motor oil and petrochemical solvents; It is widely used and has attracted many customers in the places where it was presented, and the customers wanted to replace this product in place of what they used before,” the catalyst producer, whose project was sponsored by the Islamic Azad University Bushehr branch also said.

Mousavi pointed to the uses of super elastic dye "5th generation Ziegler–Natta catalysts" and explained, “The use of dye is for printing on fabric, which is done by machine or manually, and is used in the textile printing industry.”

He said that in comparison with the imported dye, their product has a reasonable price, while saying that the similar products produced in the country are of lower quality than theirs.

“This product is a research idea, as we produce a number of catalyst manufacturing devices. This device is used in universities and industrial patents, and students will be able to simulate the process of catalysis; because there is no Ziegler–Natta catalysis and the catalysts produced are still at lab stage. Besides, many universities and research centers can become customers of this project.”

“This event will have a good feedback and there will be proper advertisements in this area, and if the ideas are collected and turned into products, with the support of Islamic Azad University and the investors, the ideas will turn into work and create jobs,” said Mousavi pointing to Asreh Omid Event’s capacities.

The national Asreh Omid Event was held in late May in Tehran’s Grand Mosalla with the participation of 3,000 knowledge-based companies, laboratories, research teams and startups.
